Kelley Blue Book Examines the 2019 Nissan Altima

Recently, an expert from Kelley Blue Books wrote an expert review on the 2019 Nissan Altima, observing that the sporty sedan offers a number of exciting new touches. Boasting a new look, a fresh attitude, and two new engine options, the Altima is a refreshingly updated sedan that delivers the sporty driving that elevates heart rates throughout Connecticut.

One new feature that drew particular praise from the reviewer was the available all-wheel drive, which isn't offered on either the Honda Accord or the Toyota Camry. This is a feature we recommend that our customers seriously consider adding in order to enjoy an added sense of control when driving in difficult road conditions.

The reviewer noted that the new engines are significantly improved, with the standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine featuring direct-injection and making 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque while still earning an EPA-estimated fuel economy of up to 39 mpg on the highway. The new available 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine manufactures 248 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, similar numbers to the previous generation's V6 engine, and is estimated to deliver up to 34 highway mpg.

The 2019 Altima comes with a full slate of standard and available safety and driver-assistance features, including the ProPILOT Assist feature that helps keep your sedan centered in your travel lane and maintains a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead of you. Other features include rear automatic braking, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warning, and much more.
